I wasn’t here for when we talked about the Harlem Renaissance so i have no idea what we did. The kids in the classroom are so excited because its about the old time and the kid love talking about it. I think I have the most connections with is Tyrone because most of the things that happen to him is what happens to me. That is why I think we have the most connections. What person in the book do you have the most connections with and why?

Something that i learned is that the Harlem Renaissance are that they were people that lived in a time period a long time ago. I think that the kids in Mr Wards class are fascinated by this time period because of all the things that they did. Such as music, poems, and many more things. The character that i like the most is tyrone. He is cool because he likes to rap, and i like rap music.

#902 The character that I most am like is Leslie. I am like her because she misses her friends. With me it is hard to make friends after you leave one place or say your best friend leaves to go to and other school and you have no say about them leaving. Now that she goes to another school it is kind of easier for me to make friends now that she goes to another school and that means that now i am getting to know more people and getting more friends.

#947 Something i learned from the harlem renaissance is that music was pretty tight and cool, i thought music from way back then was boring

I think the kids were fascinated because they are learning about that time period and they find it interesting cause of all the things that happened in that pacific time.

I feel mostly connected to Raul cause me and him like to draw and i kinda have a poor family.I like tyrone because now he doesn’t care what other people think of him.
the person i dislike the most is Lupe cause she wants to get pregnant when she’s only 14 years old.

Something that I learned is that they different music in the Harlem Renaissance.
The reason why I think the kids in Mr. Wards class like this time period is because they like writing poetry.
My favorite person in Bronx Masquerade is Judianne. I like Judianne because she designs her her own clothes. But I feel bad for her because her step dad calls her ugly.

Something that i have learn from the harlem renaissance is all the people that have all kinds of skills. The times when those people who create like art and starting writing poetry is when in new york that is call that harlem renaissance. So that time many people start to sing and write songs and got famous. Today we still see those music that after the harlem renaissance, for example like jazz and blues. So that time when harlem renaissance is very important that a lot of people create like music ,art, and writing poetry. If there no harlem renaissance i think jazz and blues would not exist.

One thing that i learned about the Harlem Renaissance is that they listen to Blues! Also the people are into poetry and art...

I think that the reason why the students in Mr. Wards are fascinating about this time period because they are into poetry and the Harlem Renaissance was involved with poetry.

I think I'm mostly like Tanisha because i used to have really really long hair but now, its not that long. I don’t really like the way most of the people in Bronx Masquerade fell about themselves they doubt themselves a lot and it just makes them feel worse.

What I learned from the Harlem Renaissance is that they had a lot of composers. Some of the composers are like Fats Waller,James Hurbert “Eubie” Blake, or William Grant still think that the kids in Mr. Ward’s class are fascinated by the time period because they might be living throw this time. Or because they might be kids that like to learn about that. Last but not least the character I dislike from Bronx Masquerade is Lupe. That is because I think she is to young to have her life this way.

something i learned about the harlem renaissance was that they listed to jazz and the blues. during world war one, many people took advantage of the employment opportunities.

I think that they are fascinated by this time period because they could connect with some of the traits in the stories. Also, some passages might have helped them learn more about other races.

my favorite person in bronx masquerade is tyrone. Because he helps people and can do things on his own.

I learned that Harlem Renaissance wrote an opera with the composer James P. Johnson. And that he was supported financially and emotionally by Charlotte Mason.

I think the kids in Mr. Ward’s class are fascinated by this period of time because their doing poetry.

Something I learned about the Harlem Renaissance is that alot of the people had something to do with art. There were more than fourteen people who had something to do with art.

I think that the students in Mr. Ward’s class are fascinated by the Harlem Renaissance time period because there is alot of poetry. And like there is so much poetry and the student like to write poetry, so they like that time period, were they could learn and know alot about poetry.

The character from the book Bronx Masquerade that I like the most is Lupe because she works very hard in school and also works hard on taking care of her baby. She also doesn’t like to get bad grades just like me.
