The biggest problem that teens face, to me, is the drugs that teens are doing and taking.
I think that they could stop this by making all drugs illegal except for prescriptions, and make pot not a medical but illegal.teens are messing p their lives with drugs such as weed, acid, shrooms and maybe meth.

The Biggest Problem Facing Teens Today In My Opinion Is Drugs And Alcohol. I Think So Because Teens Are Now Doing Drugs And Alcohol At An Earlier Age Then They Used To. In My Opinion I Don’t Think That High School Kids Should Do It But Its Even Worse That Middle School Kids Do It. I Don’t Think That Middle School Students Are Old Enough Or Mature Enough To Understand The Consequences Of Drugs Or Alcohol. A Way We Can Fix This Is By Actually First Trying To Fix The Older Kids Because Even If We Say We Don’t We Look Up To Them We Want To Do What They Do.. So If Older Kids Won’t Do It. There Could Be A Chance That Younger Kids Won’t Have Temptation Or Peer Pressure To Do It. Another Solution To This Problem Is to talk to kids the importance of not using drugs or alcohol.

I feel the biggest problem facing teens today is probably bullying. I think this because people may not know, but what they say can really hurt someone else. Some solutions to fixing this problem is trying to get to know one another. If they do that then maybe teens won’t be so quick to judge. People just have to put themselves in other people’s shoes. To be able to understand why they do what they do or how they act. If we actually understood each other, then maybe bullying would stop altogether. Then it would be one less this to worry about. Life’s hard enough as it is. Maybe less kids would be so emotionally messed up if bullying didn’t exist.

Biggest problem that teens have to face during there life time is like get addicted to drugs, alcohol, cigars and stuff that’s bad.Like buy that stuff from people from the street.
This is a very, very, very, very bad.Is it bad for them like their health. It’s a problem cause more and more people do it.It might inspire other people.I see more and more people who smoke.
We can fix it by like to ask them to stop like for a few days or something.I hope it stops little by little.Like dominoes it starts small but could end really big.

I think that the biggest problem facing teens today is doing drugs and drinking. There are a lot of teens that are doing it and it is effecting their health and their school work. Some of the ways that we can prevent this from happening is that we can come up with some fun ways for teens to spend their times. Like sports that you don’t have to pay for. And like places that they can go and hang out and listen to music and go on the computer. There are a lot of ways that we can prevent teens from doing drugs and drinking but for now that is all i can think of.

What Is The Biggest Problem Teens Face? Why? How Can We Fix These Issues?

The biggest problem teens are facing is drugs, sex, and alcohol. Why? Because teens are just now trying new things and theses are the three things teens are trying(sex, drugs, and alcohol). How we can fix these problems? There isn’t really a way to fix them because 1. sex people cant stop you from having sex you choose to which is a bad choice but again teens choose to. 2. drugs and alcohol are already illegal for people under 21 and drugs are illegal to everyone, and teens have their ways of getting drugs and alcohol. So again there isn’t really a way to fix these issues but teens be careful with all three things they are all bad, and they all lead to bad things, so please be careful and be safe. All three of these are the biggest problems teens are facing.

I would have to say the bullying is one of the biggest problems facing teens today. It’s everywhere, whether you see it or not. There are many types of bullying around. Cyberbullying being one of them. Although not all teens face this problem, most do. Bullying is such a big problem because almost every teen has faced it, and most don’t tell a teacher, adult, or even their peers. When you bully someone, it could lead them to go into depression, or even be suicidal. I cant really say that anyone could actually fix this problem because there is always someone that is bullying another.

I think the biggest problem being a teen today is facing the scary world alone, you may not be completely alone but, you well be suspected to have more responsibilities as a teen. Sometimes it can be scary because you don’t know if you doing the right thing or if u should do that or not even i face it now and it can be very hard.
I think this is hard and a problem for teens because i know teens that face it and i know my mom faced it.
i just think if parents understood it would make it easier but at the same time we need to not give up.

#506 I feel the biggest problem for teens would be, cyberbulling. I think this is such a problem because, so many teens have cell phones and/or computers an are bullied threw internet or threw instant text. Teens don’t always know who they are talking to online. For all they know, they could be talking to an old man, unless you met them in person.
Some solutions to fix these issues would be to set you myspace, twiiter, and facebook, on privet. Don’t give out privet infomation to people you don’t know online.

#517 What i think is the biggest problem facing teens to day is that they are falling in to peer pressure and not listening to what the teachers or there parents are telling them. I think that kids should stop listening to their peer’s and start listening to there parents or the teachers or other adults that have the experience that the kids need so badly. I think that this is such a big problem because kids want to be the cool kid at school. They never want to be the kid everyone hates because they aren’t the the same as everyone else. The way i think we can fix this problem that we have is kids could stop telling other kids how to be an just except them for who they are and not who they want them to be. But the kids falling into pier pressure should also try not to fall into peer pressure all the time.

I think the biggest problem facing teens today is being alone. I think that being alone is a big problem for teens is because teens may not know how to make friends or they could be shy or some other reason. I think its a problem because I know how lonely it is without friends. Some solutions to fix this problem is to help kids get over their shyness or teach them to make friends. This is because no one wants to be alone in their middle school and high school years. I choose to do this because I am a very shy person and i have tried to over come my shyness. Every time the person who I’m talking to thinks I’m weird for trying to go out of my shell and I’ll get a sense that I’m not wanted here. Once i get that sense I go right back into my shell and I’m back to where I started which gives me no feeling of accomplishment.

Dear #519,

I would agree with you that drugs and alcohol are one of the main problems because, most teens now a days are doing drugs because the older kids are who we usually follow even when we don’t notice it.

I think the biggest problem facing teens is school. Some schools are not holding kids back. So they can fail every class and still move on.
To fix this problem schools should make kids do their work. Or give them detention until they do it. No school should let kids fail. Because some kids don’t realize that their grades will effect them in the future. That’s what i think is the biggest problem facing teens today.

I think that the biggest issues that teens have today are, drugs, alcohol, and peer preasure . One of my biggest issues as a teen is friends and relationships. Iv seen what drugs and alcohol can do to people and their friends. People loose close friends or even get them to start doing bad habits, such as drugs and other things.Teens can fix the problem by..... if they see or here that one of their friends are doing drugs or other things, tell them the damage it will do to them and also tell them how lame it is. Tell them that it will lead them down a bad path and that they can do so much better. If they wont stop, tell some one (like a teacher, or adult) and also don’t hang out with them. That it what I think the biggest issue with teens is today.

I Agree with what you say because like drugs are a really big issue with drugs and i think that if enough people like can agree we can actually change something and make it all better..

What I think the biggest teen problem is depression because more and more kids are having problems at school, their house, and with other people. What I think is a solution is to talk about it to the teachers or ether to the consular in school. If you have a problem outside of school like in there house they should talk to there parents and they can help the student and change her problem. I also think that they should go to a therapist to help them by giving them solutions to there problem.

I see your point but i don't necessarily think that bullying is the biggest problem.Teens face more severe things that can be more harmful.

I agree more kids should listen to their parents cause they know what's good for you and not get hurt.

I think that is true because kids that do thats stuff don't get into college because that stuff.

Dear #509,
i agree with you because bullying is a big problem, because when teens are getting bullied they get really sad and do stupid things. Teens need to know how to deal with their emotions in the right way.

Dear 521 . I Know right. .. and most of the time we say we don't but most of us have sisters, brothers.], or friends in high school. so when they do drugs they're telling us that we are allowed to as well. and thats not good.. because if that happens with us it might happen with elementary as well . mostly [5th graders]

#509
Dear #511, I completely agree with you. Schools shouldn’t let kids fail. Because it’s kids who don’t do good in school that usually don’t succeed in their future. They should be pushed to do their best. Even if they don’t believe it, it really does help them in the long run. School is super important. Even if some kids don’t think so.

Anonymous said...

#515
Dear #514,
I agree with you because everyone is afraid of being alone, and having no one to talk to about their problems. We should be more accepting of others then trying to shun them because they are shy, weird, or don’t like to talk that much.

I think the biggest problem with teens are that grades some schools don’t hold kids back a grade. I don’t think that’s fare to the other kids that are doing good in school. Because those kids are trying hard so they get good grades and the other kids are not doing anything and there going on to the next grade. Then the kids don’t do there homework now there not going to want to do it later. That’s what I think is the biggest problem with teens.

Anonymous said...

I think the biggest problem facing teens today is focusing on what you want later in life. Many teens think of what they currently want like phones and iPods. They don’t think about what they are going to want in their future. If they aren’t trying in school then where are they going to be when they want to start a successful career or when they want a certain career that requires you to do good in school, then your not going to get that career. Some situations for this could be if you grow up in a home that was involved in drugs and alcohol and you feel that your not going to get anywhere in life so you don’t try. By your senior year you realize that you want to be a teacher but when you graduate no colleges want to accept you because didn’t get good enough grades in high school. Therefore I think the biggest problem in teens lives today is not focusing on their future.

Dear #514 I agree with you about teens being alone. To have friends in your middle and high school years is very important.

dear 511,
I would agree with you because, kids really don't know the skills to move on. If kids don't know the skills they need for middle school why should they even go to high school if they don't know any thing.

I think you are right about the bullying but I think there are way bigger problems.

Anonymous said...

#509
Dear #521, well sure there are more harmful things than bullying. But as #504 also agreed, teens can be very hurt by other teens’ words. They can be pushed to the point where they do stupid things (for example: suicide) and that, in my opinion at least, is extremely harmful.

Dear 512 I agree with you about how teens who get addicted to drugs and alcohol are less healthy and that it could take years of your life.

i totally agree with you younger follows older and i am glad that somebody said that.

Dear 511, You make a good point. School is too important for kids to be failing their classes and still passing their grade. As an adult you need to know certain things and if students don't learn those certain things then they shouldn't go on.

Dear 519, I think you are right, i see more and more kids each day talking about doing drugs with their friends, and or drinking alcohol. Drugs and alcohol is a very big issue and some one needs to do something to stop the teens from doing them.

Dear 502
While I do agree that that drugs and sex are two very big problems with teens today I disagree where you said that alcohol is a big problem because I don't thin that alcohol is that big of a deal anymore. I think that teens have stoped using alcohol anymore.

Dear 511 . i know even if we say we don't follow older people i know we do.. if it isn't your friends then it it is your siblings or other family members and i think its important for people to realize that its true{p.s thanks for the comment:)]

Dear #503,
That is true but I know it isn’t actually the biggest problem, it just one of them.

Dear 519, your right its bad if high school students are doing drugs and alcohol and its even worse if middle school students do it.

Dear #502,
I think that drugs and alcohol are a big problem with teens today but sex is a very big one. Because teens are having sex and getting pregnant and then dropping out of school because they cant handle everything. And sometimes their parents don’t want them to live with them anymore so they kick them out. When teens are on their own they sometimes make stupid choices that put them in dangerous situations.

516 tells 514

I think that to many people feel lonely because people don’t think some people are nerds or weird and don’t realize what they are saying to other people. I think that what some people are saying hurt other people but some people are just to scared from telling people. Now that i read this i feel really bad for anything anybody says to people that feel lonely.

218. 508 I agree with you totaly. I love the way you worded that and came up with that as being one of the biggest teen issues. I would of never thought to say that. That's so true. Teens our age feeling alone tend to do bad things to them self like cutting their wrists, having suicidal thoughts, and just not good things at all. So I completly agree with you. Everyone has at least SOMEONE, So don't feel as if there isn't ever at least one person there.

218. 510 That's so true , depression is a huge issue with teens, and I know you think they should go see a counselor or therapist, but what if they don't even want to do that. What then? I know I don't like talking about what ever is bothering me so why wouldn't it be the same for others?

I feel that the biggest problem facing teens is school. In school you have 1-3 lockers, 1-3 log ins and your schedule that keeps changing! You also have bullies and friends. You can’t forget homework or you’re in trouble. I think we should write down all of our combos. We should also have class discussions about bullying. We should already know how to stop bullying in our school. We should also tell an adult if we see bullying going on. We should write down our homework in planners and check them when we get home or after school.

#517 What scares me? I have more than one fear so I am going to list them. My worst fear of all is the fear of spiders. A second weird fear is I am afraid of being near an oven when I am with strangers or people I don’t know well. A third fear I have is I am afraid that one of my pets will die. A fourth fear I have is the fear of failing in someway.
I am afraid of spiders because they have eight legs which isn’t normal most other animals have either 6 legs 4 legs or 2 legs. Plus some are venomous and some are poisonous. My second fear of being near an oven when strangers are in the house came from when I had a night terror and I was thrown into the oven an cooked alive. I am not afraid of being near an oven when people I know well are around it is just when strangers are around. My third fear of my pets dying comes from my deep bond with my pets. If I were to loose one of my pets today I don’t know how I would handle it but I bet it would be really bad. My last fear is the fear of failing. I am afraid to fail because I try so hard. Those are my fears that I have.

#503 I think the biggest problem facing teens today are drugs. I think this is the biggest problem because kids are doing a lot of drugs that are making them stupid. I think that drugs are stupid and people should not do drugs. There are some things that teens can do to quite doing stupid drugs. One way is just stopping and noticing that what they are doing is very bad for you and messes your life up. Teens doing drugs is also pure pressure. So that is why I think the biggest problem with teens is drugs. AND DON’T DO DRUGS MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that is another huge thing that effects teens, grade are so important and kids do try their hardest, well they should try their hardest. Also it's not fare for the kids that don't do their homework to pass to the next grade.
