Right now the decisions you make very much effect your high school life. Most people argue “high school is where you figure out what your going to do in life, its the most inportant part of education.” That may be true but they fail to realize the things that lead up to high school. Middle school is like the bulding blocks of high school. In middle school you decide what things your going to do in high school and what classes you going to take and that greatly effects your future.

I think that what I do now in middle school will affect me when I go to high school. Maybe the questions from Monday are important to think about because maybe you don’t matter, or belong but then in high school you might find friends or better friends. If you don’t belong then how would you matter to any of the people around you. Hopefully your looking forward to going into high school where you can start with a clean slate, where you’ll find friends and people that care about you.

Yes, I think the decisions I make in middle school do effect me in high school. I think this because if you have bad grades and get in trouble its harder to get into a better high school. If you make the decision to get good grades in middle school its easier to get good grades in high school. Its easier to get into a scholarship and have a good job. I think these questions do matter to me because who you are is how society sees you. I want to be know for something I do best and how I don’t take crap from anyone. I don’t let people affect me in negative ways. I believe i’m a strong person and it will help be in high school.

The decisions i make today in middle school will surely affect me in high school. A lot of people think they wont, but if you look back on when you were younger and the decisions you made then you are going to think either wow that was a stupid choice or i am glad i did what i did. Me personally i am not happy with a lot of decisions that i made when i was younger, and i got into a lot of stuff because of it. So yes i do think that decisions you make today in middle school will definitely affect you in high school.

The three questions that are asked in this blog many kids ask them self’s all the time. I think the most important one’s are the “Do I madder” and “Do I belong”. I think this because most kids want to fit in with all the popular kids. But when people think they don’t belong is when they start to make bad choices. Like drugs or getting in fights which in high school they will be ether not excepted or be looked upon as the bad kid. But it all could be prevented by being friendly to everyone and looking out for the little guy in the class. But when kids ask them selfs “who am I” they are looking for an answer to life. To see if they fit in with everyone else.

I think that the decisions I make today will certainly affect my years in high school and beyond. I am deciding who I am and this will affect my friends and people around me. It will also decide where I belong. These questions do mean something to because I will probably be thinking about them for the rest of my life.

I think the decisions that I make in middle school do affect me in high school. I might get put into different classes and schools. If do good in middle school I’ll get into college and If I do nothing, I don’t think I’ll get a job or home. The things we do does affect us a lot in high school because high school is where we turn from kids to young adults. If we do good in middle school we might get scholarships in high school and get a good job. If do bad here we might drop out in high school and become a drug dealer or something. So we have to make the right decisions in middle school.

The decisions that I make to day will impact me for the rest of my life. For example if I try my hardest to get good grades that will form habits for high school. But I can also create bad habits. For example if I got caught doing something that I was not suppose to be doing and it got put on my record. That could easily mess up the rest of my life. So the questions do I belong, do I matter, and who am I, are very important to me. There important to me because once I find what the answers to the questions I will know my what I am to do in life and that I am important and that I matter.

Hi 215 I agree that the choices in middle school does affect who your friends are.

I think that they don’t affect me later in my life. It is because for my grades I am doing good in school and I don’t think they will affect me in high school. Also, becuase the decisions I make now may be changed later in my life. Or, I can also take the wrong decision and be bad now. But there can probably be a change in high school and beyond. Those questions I guess do matter to me because like right now I don’t really know who I am,do I belong, and if I matter. I still have to think about those questions and ask myself about them.

I think that every single decision I make now, will effect me in the future. If I were to do good things such as study before a test or do all of my homework, that becomes a hobby. Same would apply if I were to do bad things such as cheat on a test or do none of my homework. If I got kicked out of school for something really bad, that would really effect my future. There are many kids that do bad things while they are in middle school. In the future, in high school or in life, they will be the same. Also, when kids do good in middle school they turn out to be very good in life. They turn into business men, lawyers, or scientists.

The decisions I make today does affect me in my future because any decision I make now I make the same decision in my future and it could be bad. These questions do mean something to me. The question, who am I, is a way of knowing what I like and what I want to be. Do I matter, is a question which makes you think if you mean something and if you would do something in the future. The question, do I belong, asked if you think you are accepted by others or try to communicate with others well and do you accept others as well.

252, I agree with you that middle school is like the building blocks to high school.

The decisions I make now will affect my future. If I decide to mess up and not do my homework at all it is going to affect me in High School. The teachers give you a lot of homework. So I need the most practice I can get to be ready for all the homework that the teachers in 8th grade assign me. 9th grade is probably the most important year of High School because that’s when you start getting your credits. If you do really bad in Middle School and then you decide to mess up in High School too. Your High School years will not be really good and your future career will be really bad. I want a good career so that i can live a happy life with a good job.

I think that the decisions that I make in middle school will affect me in high school and beyond.I think that because if you choose t get bad grades now it is harder to get into a really good high school. These questions mean something because it makes me think about who am I. Also it makes me think about do I matter. It makes me think about do I belong.

I definitely agree with you 252. I think in middle school you are just building blocks to help you get up to high school. Maybe you can even say that your building a road to your success or failure. Either way your the one making a decisions for your future in life.

I agree with you #230. A lot of people think that doing good in high school only requires only getting good grades and doing all your homework. You brought out that you are strong and that you don't let people get you down and that has a lot to do with being successful. Oh yeah, sorry for the type-o. Important. Happy now? There right next to each other, its not my fault...

The choices that I make as a student in middle school will effect my high years because if I do drugs it will destroy my friendship with my best friends. If i get strait A’s then it show I have potential. If you have every thing you deserve, then you live the life of fun. If you make a mistake in middle school it can effect your high school reputation. If you don’t make a mistake you can do a lot more than if you did make a mistake. There is a point in a child’s life when they decide to start to ask questions to their self. Who am I? Do I matter? Do I belong? These are the three questions kids ask them selfs every day. If you have friends that care for you and love you then you matter. Think about your self image and let it come out. I have a self image, I love to draw, hang out with friends, and enjoy the life I have. If you love the way you live then you do belong where you are and who your with. Who are you, your self. Do you matter, everybody matters. Do I belong, of course you have the right life and friends to be there for you. Thats why those questions matter to me and to my future.

The three questions that are asked in this blog kids ask them selfs all the time. But think the two most important questions “Do i matter ?” and “Do i belong”. a lot of kids when they get bullied a lot or yelled at all the time or when they don’t get included and get put down they will cry and feel that they do not mater and its said because thats when they start making really bad choices like suicide or they think about it. The same idea applies for the question “Do i belong” because when they ask them selfs they don’t think they matter. Then they start making bad choices like drugs, alcohol, and fighting. Thats when they start losing high school education and job opportunities.

What I do today does effect my future. If I decided to get bad grades early on or anytime in my years as a student whether elementary, middle school, or high school. High school is probably the most important grades and times of our young life’s beside college. But, when you think about it high school is what you need to get into college. Middle school is hard days of are life because that what gets you onto high school. The questions “Who am I, Do I matter, and Do I belong” are all excellent questions and are very important. There not just questions you can answer like that it may take your whole life to figure out the answers to each and every one of them. In the end all decisions make a difference in mines and your life’s.

I agree with #230 if you don't get good grades in middle school you probably won't have good grades in high school and that will affect your Carrier.

Yes these questions does matter because if you start now getting into a lot of fights then school would not let you go to their school. If you get into a lot of fights you will get kick out of every school you go to. You would not be able to keep a job because you get made to easy and punch a worker in the face. Then you will be living in the streets with no job. But if you start now getting good grades and work hard in school. Will be very good at school and keeping a job and be very successful in life and and have to live in the streets but in a nice house with a good job.

#226 I must say that I don't really agree with you. Sure people who make bad decisions when there young have a worse chance of being successful than those who don't but that doesn't mean altogether that they are going to grow up and be a bad person. Someone who does good in school can just as easily turn around and do bad.

hey #252 i totally agree with you people do think that when they get to high school that its the most important years but actually your middle school years prepare you for high school and make a building of blocks to high school

I do think in away the decisions I make in middle school today will affect me someday. for example if I decide to do really good in school then I could go to collage and be successful in the future. I could also decide I don’t want to try in school anymore. I could decide to drop out of high school. I don’t care about any of those three questions because I know who I am. I don’t care what other people think. all that matters is that I know who I am.

Anonymous said...

#233
#230 i do agree with you because its very important to do your best and get good grades, and stay out of trouble so that you can get into a good high school and get a good education because that is important.

Anonymous said...

#227
Yes, I do think that the decisions I make now effect me in high school. I think this because if you get good grade now it will make it easier to getting good grade in high school. I also think this because if your one of those kids that turn in your homework everyday then its going to be way easier for you to do the same in high school because your already in the habit of doing it. So if everyone were to start making better decisions in middle school the rate of people that graduate high school will go up. This is why i think my decisions now effect me in high school.

Anonymous said...

#203
The decisions I make affect me in high school and beyond. If i make a bad decision about my friend I could lose my friend. If i make a good decision about my friend I wont lose my friend. The question who a I? I can't answer yet because I don't know yet. I think I matter and belong because I think I was put on this earth for a reason.

#215 i disagree because everyone matters and maybe yeah there are groups like unpopular and popular and other groups but everyone matters it wouldn't make any since if people didn't matter r belong you want to be positive because if you are being negitive to people and tell them your stupid or you don't matter or don't belong then thats where people start doing bad things like drugs and committing suicide and thats just horrible so thats why i disagree with you #215.
